DOTONBORI

Dotonbori is often selected as a scene in the Japanese and foreign movies as the symbol of Osaka. There are promenades on both sides of the Dotonbori Canal to offer better environment for a downtown, which are always attracting visitors and residents.

With the large amount of restaurants and cafés opening up on the Dotonbori Canal, this area is becoming incredibly popular for dining and nightlife. You’ll find most of the restaurants open until the early hours of the morning.

Dotonbori Shoutenkai is the street mainly serves foods. There are many iconic billboards outside of shops, which make restaurants unique and outstanding. Over 70 restaurants on this street from chain shops to local ones. Recommend trying Kushikatsu Daruma, a restaurant serves skewers.
