ARASHIYAMA BAMBOO FOREST​

you’ve probably seen pictures of the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, but no picture can capture the feeling of standing in the midst of this sprawling bamboo grove. You can access it directly from the main street of Arashiyama which leads to up the hill.

The Sagano Scenic Railway is a sightseeing train runs at Arashiyama. The old fashioned trains run through the mountain with slow pace, taking about 25 minutes to pass 7 kilometres journey. Provides passengers for a pleasant view of the scenery of the forested ravine and rural.
